Time for a spring clean and some bold colors! As of now, Mixed Tape adds a touch of eye candy to the mix with a new series of bespoke covers created by up-and-coming visual talents.

First up, we have the fresh sounds of ‘Green Tones’ and the matching verdant artwork of budding Frankfurt artist and designer Denis März.
As always, our latest compilation, featuring ten international newcomers, is available free of charge from www.mercedes-benz.tv/mixedtape, but this time with a visual twist. As part of our online feature, we invite you to take a peek behind the scenes with several short films on this issue’s musicians and their creative process.

Mercedes-Benz World Facility Brooklands

We don’t have an automobile facility that combines a full-service dealership, AMG driving experiences and a collection of classic cars in my hometown. But, you do if you live near London.

The facility is Mercedes-Benz World and it is located just 30 kilometres or so southwest of London. It attracts 300,000 visitors a year and over a million visitors already made the trip since the facility opened in 2006. Visitors can get hands-on with the latest Mercedes-Benz cars by taking test drives around the famous Brooklands’ handling circuit and/or put both the car and your driving skills to the test with one of several Driving Experiences.

While visiting, you can also take a walk around the exhibitions and get up close with a Gullwing and Maybach or take a seat in the cinema to learn about the history of Mercedes-Benz.

Admission to Mercedes-Benz World is free, but you’ll need to open your wallet for other adventures such as the driving course experiences; they range from $50 for a ride in an AMG Mercedes to $800 to drive an AMG for a half day. Mercedes 2010 Silver Arrows Formula One Team With Michael Schumacher

It has been confirmed that seven-times Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher will make his racing return in 2010 with the Silver Arrows team. The full press release and a video interview with Schumacher is below:

AMG Market News/Press Release from Stuttgart/Brackley – The MERCEDES GP PETRONAS Formula One Team can confirm that seven-times Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher will make his racing return in 2010 with the Silver Arrows team. With seven Drivers’ World Championships, 248 Grand Prix starts, 91 victories, 154 podium finishes and 68 pole positions, the 40-year old German needs no introduction following an illustrious and record-breaking Formula One career from 1991 to 2006 at the Jordan, Benetton and Ferrari teams. Michael’s return to racing with MERCEDES GP PETRONAS sees his return to Mercedes-Benz Motorsport where he began his racing apprenticeship as part of the Junior Programme in 1990, racing in Group C sports cars and DTM, and sees Michael renew his partnership with Ross Brawn with whom he won all seven of his World Championships. Mercedes-Benz: Own Team Formula 1

AMG Market News/Daimler Press Release – Stuttgart, Nov. 16: Mercedes-Benz will enter the Formula 1 World Championship with its own team, beginning with the 2010 season, and Daimler AG and McLaren Group will change their form of cooperation with effect as of 13 November 2009. This was announced by Daimler AG today.

Daimler AG together with Aabar Investments PJSC will take over 75.1 per cent of the Brawn GP team, with Daimler taking 45.1 per cent and Aabar 30 per cent. The rest of the 24.9 per cent will remain with the current stakeholders. With 9.1 per cent, Aabar is the biggest single shareholder of Daimler AG. This transaction is subject to the approval of the EU and the Swiss cartel authorities.

AMG Market – SLS AMG Videos

Mercedes-Benz lifts the new super car to the roof terrace of the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart. Resting 42 meters (137.8′) above ground, the car is part of a new exhibit dedicated to the awe-inspiring SLS AMG.
