For anyone looking for an AMG 560 SEC, this was recently posted on the MBCA Forum:
Hey guys i got a 88′ amg hammer 560 sec it has the 6.0 and every option available. this car has 19500 original miles. it has the orginal paint that is black and in perfect condition. grey leather is also in perfect condition. this car sold in ‘88 for $160,000 it comes with 375 horsepower as well as 410 feet pound of torque email me for more info. email is albucrazypimp@aol.com

As well as several other cars I have a 1988 560SEC AMG (not a Hammer). She is great. I have not seen another of this model anywhere except in one movie with Jaoquim Phoenix (Buffalo something). Do you know of a site where I can find production numbers etc. I love these things and the M6’s of the same era. Send me pic’s of yours if you still have it.

It is hard to get production numbers for the AMGs. MBUSA didn’t get a whole lot of info after the merger. You might get some info from the MB Classic Center in Irvin, CA. Give them a call: Ph: 866-622-5277 or visit their website
