MONTVALE, N.J. – July 3, 2006 – Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) reported its highest June on record with sales of 20,802 new vehicles, an increase of 14 percent over last June. This brings MBUSA’s year-to-date total to 114,935 new vehicles sold for the best half-year sales in the company’s history.
Highlights for the month include an 81 percent increase for the flagship S-Class model line (2,407 v. 1,330 units). Roadsters also proved to be popular this month with a 23.4 percent increase over June 2005 for the SL-Class and SLK-Class combined (1,934 v. 1,567).
