About every 8-10 weeks, Mercedes-Benz releases a dozen or so songs for free download. With a variety of styles from international artists – jazz, hip-hop, pop, soul, new music – you’ll find more than a few good songs to enjoy while driving in your AMG or while reading the AMG Mercedes-Benz enthusiast blog.
Release #13 is currently available (Judy 2006). Unfortunately, you can’t go back and download the 130 or so songs previously released. I’ve found 8-10 songs per release worth keeping so I download the entire song list and rate it later. You can listen to the tracks online and individually tag them for download if you prefer.
I’m listening to release 11 as I post this note.Title “Heidi Bruehl” by artist Tosca is particularly good if you like the downbeat genre. “Dessert Song” by pop artist Ika Audio is also worth a spin through the ear. A few of the songs from earlier releases, such as “Down the Drain” by Sleeve Channel and “Bhang-Rajah” by Raj Asia, are now on my favorites list.
