Members of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America usually get discounts on parts from local dealers. If your dealer doesn’t offer the discount, just talk to one of the club’s board members for a dealership that does (to the best of my knowledge, most dealers do offer discounts to MBCA members). And, if they don’t they are idiots so go somewhere else.

Also, the club magazine has numerous advertisers that sell parts for the SL. And, you might find parts by participating in the club’s forum – lots of parts trade hands between members.

Another resource for SL owners is John Olson’s SL Market Letter, which I often edit for him. It is an inexpensive subscription and well worth the time you’ll save researching the Mercedes SL.
