Mr. Wirt is a marketing professional with experience in direct marketing via traditional and state-of-the art methods, including electronic newsletters, email marketing, magazine publishing and online cooperative advertising.
He has knowledge and experience conducting marketing research in business-to-consumer and business-to-business markets. He has utilized primary and secondary research methods to ascertain market potential and customer segmentation in a variety of public and private organizations. Furthermore, he has developed successful short-term promotions and long-term strategic marketing plans in the publishing, retail, technology, sporting goods and healthcare industries.
Mr. Wirt has also been called on for strategic planning and relationship marketing initiatives. Using a team-based approach he has led a multitude of strategic planning teams in areas such as e-commerce, marketing & merchandising, retail location & store design, and process improvement for an organization with revenues over $500 million.
Recently, Mr. Wirt assisted a large state agency with research and development of strategies to migrate customers to lower-cost and more convenient product and service delivery channels such as the internet, phone and fax.

Mr. Wirt obtained a B.S. in Marketing in 1998 from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Certificate in Direct Marketing from the Interactive Marketing Institute at VCU in 2000, and a Technology-Focused M.B.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2006.
